I love the Food Network television channel and I used to watch Robert Irvine’s shows all the time. I would always admire how fit Robert was and how he seemed to focus his recipes and shows around the same theme.

Logical Choice

So, it was no wonder that when I was browsing at Costco that I stumbled into Robert Irvine’s – Fit Crunch bars that I immediately associated and purchased my first box.

At first I really didn’t know what to expect. I had looked at the nutritional information and knew that each bar was only 190 Calories and 14g Carbohydrates, so I knew that it was diabetic friendly. I also saw that it contained peanuts, which I love, and chocolate, which I also love, so I figured how bad could it be?

Right Blend, Right Taste

From the first bite I was in love with this nutrition bar. First, it looked delicious – covered in chocolate with a drizzle of what looks to be peanut butter it really looks like a candy bar, more than a nutrition bar.

As I bit into the bar I went from firm to soft as my teeth passed the firm cookie base into the soft peanut butter center, then all of a sudden “crunch”. The mixture and texture changes are enjoyable and the crunchy bits that dot the outside of the bar are a nice surprise as you devour each bite.

The only bad part about the bar is when it’s all gone. Not that the bar is small by any means, but I find myself eating the whole thing far to quickly and still wanting more when I am done with one bar.

Thank Goodness for Bulk

The Fit Crunch bar has become my go to bar when I want a snack.

As a matter of fact, I have had multiple bars in one day depending on how my day is progressing or what I get to eat when I am in a hurry. I find that I have to buy these bars in bulk. They come in a large box at Costco, but between myself and the other people in my house, we can eat an entire box in one week and we are buying more the next week when we go grocery shopping.
